6th grade Final Tessellation Project!

All 6th grade art classes in the fall embarked on an epic half-semester journey that started with color mixing, tessellations and ended in an extra large installation art piece! They worked in groups collaborating on mixing 100 colors to create a unique tessellation. The Chinese character is meant to ‘say’ or represent UNITY, togetherness. Together the 1st semester Art students did indeed create this incredible installation TOGETHER!
