this is my first go at this blog thing. my brother has had this site for me for years and i figure it is time to get it going. but it does feel very alien to me. not usually one to throw out an opinion or start a conversation, or publish personal photos… so as for right now, this is my test, personally and technologically speaking. that being said, and just to be on the safe side, i am still wearing my aluminum foil hat just in case all this IS alien.

anyone out there?

Certainly a very alien feel to the image. Very appropriate for an inaugural post. Please post more of this series, they are quite powerful.
publish more……come out from behind that sheet, who ever you are!!!!!!
i agree. it’s never a bad idea to sport the aluminum hat. i mean, just in case!
So there you are.
This makes sense. I had a teacher in high school – not the best example maybe – who would read poems from the text and lead us in hours of discussion devoted to “explaining what it means.” I would sit there, unless called on, looking confused and wondering what the hell was going on. I thought to myself, but wanted to scream, “The poet just said what he means! There wasn’t any other way of saying it. There couldn’t be. That’s why he said it this way.” The same is true for any medium I guess.
Robert Heinlien had a word for that I think, in “Stranger in a Strange Land” – a story where the alien was human. But I never liked that book. I thought it was naïve.
I still spend a lot of time looking confused and wondering what the hell is going on – waiting for the times when that other thing happens.
Technically speaking there is NO WAY that the foil would foil aliens or government listening devices. The only way is to creature a fissure in the space/time fold and enter the reality where some of the laws of physics change and turn the basic compounds of foil into nano-resistive putty that conducts and reflects the alien waves and the government microwaves.
Having said that…. RUN, BOWIE, RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!
Are these from the same group you and I did in Houston??
